Peanut Butter Biscuits
Flea Haters Dog Biscuits
Brewer's yeast is a natural anti-flea remedy
1 1/2 cups of self raising flour
1/4 cup of oatmeal
1/2 cup of smooth peanut butter
1 heaping spoon of honey
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 tablespoons of shortening
1 cup of flour
1/4 cup of wheat germ
1/4 cup brewer's yeast (available at health food stores)
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon plus 1 1/2 teaspoons of canola oil
1 clove garlic, chopped medium, or 1 teaspoon powdered garlic (optional)
1 1/2 cups of chicken stock plus 3 tablespoons for basting
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare baking tray.
Mix flour and oats in a large bowl.
Add peanut butter, egg, honey, vanilla and shortening.
Mix well.
Roll out until it's about 1/4 inch thick.
Cut into pieces and place on baking tray.
Bake for approx 20 minutes.
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Prepare baking tray.
Mix flour, wheat germ, brewer's yeast and salt together.
In a mixing bowl combine oil and garlic.
Alternately add 1/2 cup chicken stock and flour mixture in 3 parts; mix well until well combined.
Knead for about 2 minutes by hand on a floured surface.
Dough will be sticky.
On lightly floured surface roll dough out till it's about 1/2 inch thick.
Cut into pieces and place onto baking tray.
Bake for 10 minutes, baste with remaing chicken stock, then bake for a further 10 minutes.
Turn off oven, leave door closed, and leave biscuits in oven for 1 1/2 hours.
Molasses Biscuits
2 cups of cornmeal
2 eggs
2 tablespoons of molasses
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 cup of chicken broth
1/2 cup of powdered milk
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Prepare baking tray.
Mix all ingredients together.
Blend until smooth.
Roll out mixture until it's 1/4 inch thick.
Cut into pieces and place on baking tray.
Bake for approx 20 mins.
Salmon and Sweet Potatoe Biscuits
2 sweet potatoes or yams
1 can of salmon
2 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup of olive oil
1 cup of oatmeal
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Prepare baking tray.
Boil sweet potatoes until very soft.
In a blender puree garlic, salmon - including liquid from can, sweet potatoes with skins on and olive oil.
Add flour to oatmeal.
Knead together.
Roll out dough till it's 1/4 inch thick.
Cut into pieces and place on baking tray.
Bake for approx 30 minutes.
Liver Cake
1lb liver
1lb flour
2 eggs
Preheat oven to 180 f degrees
Prepare baking tray
Mix liver and eggs together in a blender
Stir in flour
Transfer to baking tray
Cook for 30 minutes
Wait to cool then cut into pieces
